Analytics Modules for Business Students

Abstract Data science is a relatively new requirement for business students. Historically, many students shied away from statistics and quantitative or operational research (OR) modules believing them to be boring irrelevant. The high-profile use of analytics modelling during the COVID pandemic has drawn awareness relevance analytics. Greater availability data tools afford an opportunity re-engage with enjoy satisfaction solving real-world problems, but challenge mathematical skills gap remains. In this paper, we describe learning pathway in that can enhance students’ confidence capabilities performing statistical analytical tasks. We recommend incremental innovative teaching approaches are pedagogically sound suitable varying backgrounds.
